Short-term Rehab
In the Short-term rehabilitation wing, our licensed,
professional staff
encourages continuing recovery and seeks to restore quality and
independence to daily living. Physical, Occupational, and Speech
Therapy is provided to clients on an
inpatient as well as an outpatient basis. Using state-of-the-art
equipment, our physical, occupational
and speech therapists work one-on-one with each client, to provide a
comprehensive program of rehabilitation.
An important part of the rehabilitation wing is an Activities of Daily
Living apartment. In this facility, clients can gain practice in skills
such as cooking, bathing, and transferring in and out of bed, in a
realistic home-like
setting.
Our program offers comprehensive short-term care for patients following
a brief hospital stay or in place of hospitalization. From reliable
on-site case management to expert nursing, to innovative rehabilitation
techniques, our goal is to maximize functional abilities and have the
patient safely return to the community at their highest level of
independence.
The strength of our Short-term Rehab is our
interdisciplinary team of Physicians, APRNs - advance
practice registered nurses, social workers, dietitians, and
rehabilitation therapists. Through a patient-centered
approach, the team works with patients and their families to coordinate
each patient's clinical course and treatment plan.
