There are many wonderful opportunities for volunteers at
Avery Heights.
Avery Heights Auxiliary
Become a member of the Auxiliary at Avery Heights and join a dynamic
group of volunteers who raise money for programs and special events for
our residents.

Special Events
A variety of Special Events are held
throughout the year. Proceeds from the events support
recreational activities for the residents of Avery Heights. Our
Volunteer Committees are the mainstay of our special events fundraisers
at Avery Heights. In addition to the many special events we run at
Avery, we also conduct a holiday event to provide
gifts for our health care residents during the holidays, as well as a
spring fundraiser. Please join us!
Recreation Therapy
Avery Heights provides a wide variety of recreational activities for
our residents including arts, music, bingo, games, reading, clubs,
computers and much, much more. Volunteers are always needed and greatly
welcomed.
Student Internships
Avery Heights conducts high quality internship programs with colleges,
universities and secondary schools throughout the area. Whether working
with a group on a research project or individually with a resident, we
welcome students to apply for internships.
